Yes, if the submitting unit is the governing unit for graduate education. Under no circumstances will multiple proposals from a single campus be accepted.

Can a graduate school or governing unit request SREB student support across multiple doctoral programs?

Yes. The proposal requires that the campus specify how student recipients will be selected across the eligible doctoral programs.

Our department would like to increase enrollment of underrepresented minority students in cohorts per academic year. Can SREB funding be requested by the department to support cohort funding?
Posted by Karthik Poobalasubramanian on July 25, 2018

No. Proposals must be submitted by the graduate school or governing unit and only one may be submitted per campus. The graduate school at its discretion can specify that only one degree program will benefit. Continual cohort funding through SREB is not guaranteed, since funding cycles are competitive and run on an annual basis.
