At its meeting of June 17, 2020, the Board of Regents adopted policy changes to BoRSF endowment programs, including:
- Removal of the 125% cap on retention in endowment principal accounts, to be replaced with a 4% preferred spend rate, applicable to all BoRSF endowment matching programs.
- For the Endowed Two-Year Workforce Scholarships subprogram, expansion of eligible disciplines and adoption of 1:1 match rate with a minimum corpus of $40,000 for priority workforce programs.
All policy changes are effective immediately and in place for the upcoming 2020-21 funding cycle. RFPs for the FY 2020-21 BoRSF funding cycle, incorporating these revised policies, will be released in July 2020.
