With the extension of the Governor’s stay-at-home order through May 15, staff is providing an additional extension to the deadline for submission of Endowed Professorships supporting documents not previously provided to the BoR, to Tuesday, May 26. While we need documents with original signatures for our permanent files, we will accept emailed copies with electronic or scanned signatures by this date. Originals should be forwarded to the BoR as soon as possible. Funding cannot be released until application packets are complete, but delays in receipt of originals will not affect the processing of matching funds for affected endowments as long as the electronic copies are on file.
Submission of any missing System Board approvals or timeline for securing System Board approvals should still be provided by Monday, June 15. Please notify us if your System Board will not meet before this date, so other accommodations may be made.
If additional stay-at-home orders are issued due to COVID-19, staff will update deadlines again and post changes/updates on our website, https://rsi.laregents.edu. Bear in mind that matching dollars must be distributed by fiscal year end, so originals or copies of all application materials, with the possible exception of the System Board approval, must be received and verified in time to process payments by June 30.
