The SAR sub-program is designed for those faculty at non-research intensive Louisiana institutions of higher education or community colleges who would like to engage in research, but cannot do so during the academic year. The SAR provides support for such faculty to engage in a summer research project with the assistance of partners at a NASA Center or a Louisiana research intensive institution that already has or is in the process of establishing a NASA connection.
