A research at Loyola University New Orleans used an RCS grant to involve undergraduate student researchers in her state-of-the-art investigations of aerosolized nanoparticles. Five students were supported partially or wholly by the grant, and two wrote honors theses based in large part on their research. As a result, both graduated with American Chemical Society certified bachelor of science degrees and went on to graduate school at top-tier universities.
