Dillard University’s Psychology Department has improved its ability to measure student progress and direct curriculum planning by implementing new internet portals purchased with an Undergraduate Enhancement grant. These portals enable each freshman psychology major to submit learning outcome evidence into an electronic portfolio and throughout his/her enrollment. The results can be tabulated and analyzed throughout the student’s career, helping the department better to understand student progress and learning at every point in the curriculum.
