The LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, using a Traditional Enhancement award, established the Southeast Louisiana shRNA screening facility. This facility provides expertise, reagents and equipment necessary to support throughput screening, using shRNA, to perform functional genomic screens using cell-based assays, and provides critical infrastructure to help build research competitiveness and possibly generate new intellectual property.
