Dr. Dorota Heneghan at LSU-Baton Rouge submitted a top-rated ATLAS proposal to complete a monograph on “Fashion, Gender, and Modernity in Galdós, Pardo Bazán, and Picón.” The work will investigate important, complex interactions between ideas and presentations of fashion (especially clothing and accessories) and the construction of gender in modern Spanish literature.
