Congratulations to Carrie Robison, who has been appointed John Wallin’s successor as Associate Commissioner for Sponsored Programs Administration. Carrie has been at the Board of Regents as Special Programs Manager for nine years, supervising the Graduate Fellows, Awards to Louisiana Artists and Scholars, and Post-Katrina Initiative programs as well as participating in special initiatives and projects throughout Sponsored Programs. She has assisted with the development of new programs, including ATLAS, BoR/SREB Fellowships, P-KSFI, RC/EEP, and Endowed Undergraduate Scholarships, as well as comprehensive program evaluations of Graduate Fellows, Endowed Chairs, and R&D. She has also been a part of Sponsored Programs’ special initiatives, from the post-Katrina response to Strategic and Master Planning efforts. Through this work, Carrie has developed a strong understanding of both the Support Fund and the larger functions of Sponsored Programs. We look forward to working with her in this new role.
