An RCS principal investigator at Tulane University has recently received a prestigious NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award for his work in developing a novel gel micropatterning technique that is simple, fast, and reproducible. The materials and methods developed by the principal investigator, in addition to being highly useful in his ongoing research, may potentially be commercialized for the research market.
