Board of Regents Support Fund Recruitment of Superior Graduate Students programs have supported nearly 1,400 superior master’s and doctoral candidates during their studies. About 10% of these fellowships have been awarded to programs specifically targeting in-service K-12 mathematics and science teachers pursuing master’s degrees in education. Through the fellowships, the program has contributed highly educated employees to Louisiana industries, expert teachers at levels from kindergarten to college, and a community of energetic and dedicated graduate students across Louisiana.
