In five underperforming schools in three parishes, faculty from LSU and Southern University offer innovative professional development in instructional coaching and teacher leadership, including graduate-level courses that will lead to a special add-on certification. On a monthly basis, university and school project participants visit a high performing school to observe and identify best practices for implementation.
