Through a five-year P-KSFI Primarily Research Subprogram grant, a research team at LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans has established the Louisiana Vaccine Center (LVC), a Board of Regents-recognized Center of Excellence for vaccine research and development. This Center, funded with $5.5 million from the P-KSFI, has leveraged $51 million in new external grants from the National Institutes of Health and other Federal agencies.
