An RCS grant at Louisiana Tech assisted the Principal Investigator, Dr. Sumeet Dua, in reaching national competitiveness by supporting the development of novel multi-disciplinary data mining and bioinformatics technologies that will ultimately contribute to the scientific and economic development of both Louisiana and the nation. The research team has been awarded $1.85 million in grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Air Force Laboratory, and the NSF EPSCoR program, and has been issued a patent.
