Principal investigators at Louisiana State University in Shreveport have used an Undergraduate Enhancement award to establish interdisciplinary programs to train students in biological and computer sciences to compete in the global marketplace. BoRSF support has enabled the purchase of multiple workstations to support bioinformatics training and foster collaborative work and thought among participating students.
