A researcher at Louisiana Tech used an RCS grant to study novel solar energy harvesting using microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) devices, succeeding in making major advancements that have spawned numerous publications and presentations, as well as new research collaborations and federal funding. The PI is continuing research through a major National Science Foundation award, and partnering with UNO’s Advanced Materials Research Institute to pursue additional research directions and support.
