A Traditional Enhancement award, along with matching funds from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, enabled LSU’s transportation engineering research facility to acquire advanced driving simulator technology, with the potential to dramatically impact the facility’s research direction and funding. This new equipment promises to increase research competitiveness, promote multidisciplinary collaboration, enable recruitment of excellent graduate-level students, and improve the learning experiences of undergraduate students.
