A Post-Katrina Support Fund Initiative (P-KSFI) Primarily Research award has funded an important partnership between Louisiana Tech University and LSU Baton Rouge. The project, led by Dr. Vir Phoha and the Center for Smart Cyber Centric Sensor Surveillance Systems, has contributed significantly to research into cyber security and surveillance. With the help of the P-KSFI award, researchers have already secured more than $30 million in competitive funding, generated 155 peer-reviewed publications, and received approval for four patents, with others pending or in development.
