The Center for Cultural and Eco-Tourism at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette has made major strides in archiving, storing and making accessible Cajun and Creole folklore materials through a Traditional Enhancement grant. By supporting student personnel and necessary equipment and supplies, the Enhancement award increased the Center’s ability to make its collection accessible to the public and to preserve threatened elements of the local Cajun and Creole heritage.
