The research results of an ITRS award at UL Lafayette related to the processing of high-density polyethylene-nanocalcium carbonate composite have contributed significantly to the technical expertise of the Center for Structural and Functional Materials, a Center with the mission of providing expertise and technical assistance to the materials processing and fabrication industries in Louisiana. The research results will soon be available to these industries for commercial use.
