Fletcher Technical Community College’s Division of Nursing and Allied Health was awarded $134,168 from the Enhancement Program for Two-Year Institutions to develop alternative clinical learning opportunities by creating a clinical simulation lab experience for nursing students and area health care professionals. Through the project, the Division acquired a new patient care simulator, a pediatric simulator, and scenarios for use with the simulators. These resources have proved invaluable in establishing partnerships and resource sharing across the Fletcher campus and the local health care community.
