The LaSIP partnership (currently funded by the BoRSF and BESE; formerly supported by NSF and the Louisiana Legislature) provides university-based professional development which produces rising student scores on statewide tests. LaSIP has expanded school reforms by competing successfully for $65 million in Federal grants.
