Dr. Prerna Dua of Louisiana Tech University will explore methods for gene expression data mining through her top-ranked Research Competitiveness Subprogram proposal, “Novel Methods for Microarray Gene Expression Data Mining for Translational Bioinformatics.” The research may have a significant impact on drug development and related fields. In addition, the project enhances collaborative research and mentoring relationships between LSUHSC-New Orleans and Louisiana Tech.
