A new Macintosh computer lab at LSU Alexandria, funded through the Traditional Enhancement program, has helped the Communication Studies program to strengthen digital photography, journalism and mass media courses. The lab has also encouraged students to pursue extracurricular projects, such as LSUA-TV, video production, and student publications conversion, all of which contribute to student skills and potential for professional placement after graduation.
