Key to contemporary research in archaeology is the use of digital tools to see and understand artifacts. To keep LSU at the cutting edge, the department received a Traditional Enhancement grant to establish the Digital Imaging and Visualization in Archaeology (DIVA) lab. The lab’s 3D imaging capabilities now place it in the top tier of universities and museums.
