Dr. Pallavi Dani of LSU-Baton Rouge is undertaking research in group theory as part of a top-ranked Research Competitiveness Subprogram project, “Geometric and Asymptotic Properties of Groups.” The focus of the project is on a particular class of quasi-isometry invariants, collectively called filling invariants.
