A researcher at Tulane University, with help from a Research Competitiveness Subprogram award, has made significant progress in understanding the phenomenon of racism. Through the experience of conducting this research and the resulting presentations and publications, the PI has raised the stature of Tulane’s Psychology Department, recruited four top-quality doctoral students, and gained federal funding for new research.
