Dr. Wen Meng of LSU-Baton Rouge will contribute technology developments potentially important to the aircraft manufacturing industry through the top-rated Industrial Ties Research Subprogram project, “New Microscale Thermal Management Technologies for High-Performance, Near Lubricant-Free Roller Bearings.” The work will be conducted in partnership with Timkin, an industry leader in developing friction management and power transmission technologies.
