A BoRSF Research Competitiveness Subprogram (RCS) award funded a research group at LSU Baton Rouge that is participating in a collaboration to construct MiniLENS. MiniLENS is a prototype of a next-generation instrument to precisely measure, for the first time, the neutrinos resulting from the hydrogen fusion in the core of the sun.
