LSU Shreveport’s dual enrollment courses have benefitted from the introduction of portable laboratory units for hands-on learning related to agriculture and the environment purchased through a Traditional Enhancement award. The project not only affected the students and teachers who had access to the lab units, but also enabled LSUS faculty to develop a laboratory manual specifically designed for middle and high school teachers and students. With the easily distributed manual, the lab units are easily transferred across teachers and schools.
