Bioenergy and nanotechnology areas have been identified as critical economic development areas for the State and the nation, and the LSU Ag Center is poised to make major contributions. To ensure that the Center can make the most of this opportunity, a principal investigator used an Enhancement award to purchase cutting-edge equipment. The equipment has not only enhanced faculty research programs, it has also given students a chance to learn skills essential for success in this rapidly expanding workforce.
