The Board of Regents Support Fund has four constitutionally designated purposes: carefully defined research efforts; endowment of chairs for eminent scholars; enhancement of the quality of academic, research or agricultural departments or units; and recruitment of superior graduate students. In combination, these four purposes enable support for higher education in all disciplines and at all levels.
